Specificity
This antibody is specific for human and murine IQGAP2. IQGAP2 binds to activated CDC42 and RAC1 but does not seem to stimulate their GTPase activity. Associates with calmodulin.

The original mouse version of this antibody was raised by immunizing A/J mice with his- tagged human IQGAP2.
Application Notes
Aliquots of chronically infected or uninfected N2a cells were used for immunofluorescence with the mouse version of this antibody. This was done to research genes associated with prion propagation (Marbiah et al, 2014; pmid:24843046).
