The original antibody was generated by immunizing mice with a phosphonate mono-ester transition state analog (TSA) of cocaine coupled through a covalent linkage to the carrier protein keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH).
Application Notes
This antibody catalyzes the hydrolysis of cocaine to produce nonpsychoactive metabolites ecgonine methyl ester and benzoic acid.
