Immunogen | The original rabbit version of this antibody was raised by immunizing rabbits with a 3-pTza library conjugated to the carrier protein keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH). |
Application Notes | This antibody can be used for the identification of 3-pHis substrates and functional study of pHis. It was used in an immunoblot performed on four recombinant HK proteins—EnvZ, WalK, ArcB, and EvgS (Kinoshita-Kikuta et al, 2020; pmid:32360198). SC56-2 was also used in Western blot analyses on NDPK-B and PGAM5 proteins (Panda et al, 2016; pmid:27453048) and on mouse liver tissue as well as LX-2 cells (Gong et al, 2020; pmid:32860079). Furthermore, immunoaffinity purification was preformed using this antibody on SK-N-BE(2) xenograft tumors from mice (Adam et al, 2020; pmid:32392889). This clone was also utilized in the immunofluorescence staining (Yang et al, 2019; pmid:31721359). Finally, an ELISA was preformed on 3-day differentiated Sca1+-VPCs with this antibody (Yang et al, 2019; pmid:31721359). |
