Specificity
This antibody binds human CD155 also called the poliovirus receptor (PVR). This protein mediates NK cell adhesion and triggers NK cell function. It also binds two NK cell receptors CD96 and CD226. CD155 is gaining more interest as a therapeutic target in the field of tumor immunology due to its prominent endogenous and immune functions.

The original antibody was isolated from an scFv phage display library generated by immunizing two BALB/c mice intradermally with paraformaldehyde fixed HT1080 cells (human fibrosarcoma cell line).
Application Notes
This antibody show inhibitory effect on the invasion of HT1080 cells, MDA-MD231 cells in a chemotaxis assay with a Matrigel coated cell migration chamber. This antibody also has inhibitory effect on the migration of two different glioblastoma cell lines U87MG and A172 (US20090215175).
