Introduction
CLEC4E (MINCLE or CLECSF9), belongs to a diverse family of proteins which were originally defined by their ability to recognize a wide range of ligands of carbohydrate structure. MINCLE is expressed in macrophages subjected to several types of stress. CLEC4E has an important role in response to trehalose-6,6''-dimycolate (TDM) and activated by a synthetic analogue, trehalose dibehenate (TDB). It was reported recently that MINCLE is connected with an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motif–containing Fc receptor γ chain (FcRγ) and functions as an activating receptor for damaged self- and non–self-pathogenic fungi.

Immunogen
Anti-human CLEC4E mAb, is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human CLEC4E amino acids 41-219 purified from E. coli.
Ig Subclass
Mouse IgG2b heavy chain and κ light chain.
Purification Method
CLEC4E antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-G affinity chromatography.
Formulation
1mg/ml containing PBS, pH-7.4, & 0.1% Sodium Azide.
Storage Procedures
For periods up to 1 month store at 4°C, for longer periods of time, store at -20°C. Prevent freeze thaw cycles.
Stability / Shelf Life
12 months at -20°C. 1 month at 4°C.
Applications
CLEC4E antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot and Immunofluorescence analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis and Immunofluorescence is 1:250 ~ 500. Recommended starting dilution is 1:250.
