Introduction
GIPC2 is a 315 aa protein which is restricted to the cytoplasm and holds one PDZ domain. GIPC2 is expressed in large quantities in colon and kidney and in small quantities in adult liver. GIPC2 has a vital part in human gastric cancer by control of growth factor signaling or cell adhesion.

Immunogen
Anti-human GIPC2 mAb, is derived from hybridization of mouse FO myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human GIPC2 amino acids 1-315 purified from E. coli.

Mouse IgG1 heavy chain and κ light chain.
Purification Method
GIPC2 antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-G affinity chromatography.
Formulation
1mg/ml containing PBS, pH-7.4, & 0.1% Sodium Azide.
Storage Procedures
For periods up to 1 month store at 4°C, for longer periods of time, store at -20°C.

Applications
GIPC2 antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:1000.
