Introduction
RAN Binding Protein 3, also known as RANBP3, is found in the nucleus and cytoplasm. RANBP3 which owns RanBD1 domain participates in nuclear export as part of a heteromeric complex. RANBP3 is also negatively regulates TGF-beta signaling by interacting with the R-SMAD proteins, SMAD2 and SMAD3.

Immunogen
Anti-human RANBP3 mAb, clone PAT12E11AT, is derived from
hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice
immunized with a recombinant human RANBP3 protein (235-445 amino acids) purified from E. coli.
Ig Subclass
Mouse IgG 1 heavy chain and k light chain.
Purification Method
RANBP3 antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by
protein-A affinity chromatography.
Formulation
1mg/ml containing PBS, pH-7.4, 10% Glycerol and 0.02% Sodium Azide.
Storage Procedures
For periods up to 1 month store at 4°C, for longer periods of time, store at -20°C. Prevent freeze thaw cycles.
Stability / Shelf Life
12 months at -20°C. 1 month at 4°C.
Applications
The antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot
analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies,
however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal
results. Recommended starting dilution is 1:500.
