Name | Anti-IgE mAbs |
Clone No. | AFD-D9#3116 |
From | Recombinant Antibody |
Isotype | Engineer antibody |
Application | WB, ELISA |
Species Reactivity | Dog |
Basic Information | |
Specificity | The antibody recognises canine IgE (likely C-epsilon 2). |
Alternative Name | immunoglobulin E; canine IgE; canine immunoglobulin E; D9 |
UniProt | |
Immunogen | This antibody was raised by immunising BALB/c mice with IgE-rich pooled parasitised dog serum and subsequent creation of hybridomas. |
Application Notes | ELISA: Canine IgE-specificity of the D9#3116 antibody was confirmed by ELISA tests with different types of antibodies (DeBoer et al., 1993). WB: This antibody was successfully used in western blot detection of canine IgE in experiments on the dogs' allergies against the hen egg (Shimakura et al., 2016). ELISA: fluorometric ELISA tests were used to assay canine IgE reactivity against different vaccine components in anti-vaccine allergies (Ohmori et al., 2005). |
