This antibody recognizes high molecular weight antigens in epithelial cells, both on the cell membrane and in the cytoplasm, and reacts with the majority of human epithelial cancers.

This antibody was raised by immunising mice with human prostatic cancer cells.
Application Notes
This antibody has beeen recommended for the detection and visualisation of various carcinomas. For instance, it was used to stain human breast carcinoma tissue (Hofheinz et al., 1987). KC4G3 antibody was also utilised in the imaging of mammary adenocarcinomas in mice and might be used in the analysis and potentsilly therapy of epithelial maligancies (Couto et al., 1993; Longley et al., 1990).
