CD147 is a type I membrane glycoprotein and is classified into the immunoglobulin-like superfamily, and is expressed in many types of cancer. Immunogen | The original antibody was generated by immunizing BALB/c mice with extracellular domain of CD147-His and 50 μg / head, 100 ng / head of pertussis toxin in Freund's complete adjuvant. |
Application Notes | The binding specificity of this antibody for human and cynomolgus monkey was determined using ELISA. This antibody was shown to interact with CD147 expressed on Raji cells and HSC-F cells in a flow cytometric analysis. This antibody was also reported to show anti-tumor effects in tumor- bearing mouse model of K562 cells, which is a chronic leukemia cell line and in tumor-bearing mouse model of SW480 cells, a colon cancer cell line. This antibody also showed CDC and ADCC activity against CD147 bearing cancerous cells (WO2017061602). |
