Key features and details | |
Cat. No. | MABL-816 |
Name | Anti-CD226 mAbs |
Clone No. | AFD- DN9 |
From | Recombinant Antibody |
Isotype | Engineer antibody |
Application | ELISA, FC |
Species Reactivity | Human |
Basic Information | |
Specificity | This antibody binds human CD226. This protein is expressed on the surface of natural killer cells, platelets, monocytes and a subset of T cells. It is involved in intercellular adhesion, lymphocyte signaling, cytotoxicity and lymphokine secretion mediated by cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL) and NK cell. It acts as cell surface receptor for NECTIN2. On binding with ligand it stimulates T-cell proliferation and cytokine production, including that of IL2, IL5, IL10, IL13, and IFNG. |
Alternative Name | DNAM1; DNAM-1; TLisA1; PTA-1; CD226 antigen; DNAX accessory molecule 1; T lineage specific activation antigen 1; platelet and T cell antigen 1 |
UniProt | Q15762 |
Immunogen | The original antibody was generated by immunizing 4-6 weeks old female SPF or BALB/c mice with human DNAM-1 commercial antigen. |
Application Notes | The binding characterization of this antibody to human CD226 was done using ELISA. This antibody was used for the detection of CD226 expressed on Jurkat cells using flow cytometry (CN112940122). |
