Specificity | OX-101 binds specifically to CD47 and has been shown to compete with OX-41 for binding . CD47 acts as an adhesionn receptor for THBS1 on platelets and is involved in the modulation of integrins (signalling). Acts as a SIRPA receptor - SIRPA binding prevents maturation of immature dentritic cells and and inhibits cytokine production by mature dendritic cells. Possibly involved in changes to membrane permeability due to virus infection. |
