Immunogen | This antibody was raised by immunising mice with recombinant human soluble CEACAM-1-Fc, produced in HEK293 cells. |
Application Notes | This antibody has been used in ELISA analysis to detect and quantify soluble CEACAM1 in human bronchoalveolar lavage fluid samples (Klaile et al, 2013). This antibody has also been used in immunohistochemical staining of paraffin-embedded human brain tissue sections, revealing CEACAM1- positive B cells in brain infiltrates (Rovituso et al, 2016). Additionally, this antibody has been used in Western blot analysis of CEACAM1 expression in human intestinal epithelial cell lysates (Klaile et al, 2017). This antibody does not inhibit B cell aggregation in vitro (Rovituso et al, 2016). |
Antibody First Published | Klaile et al. Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA)-related cell adhesion molecules are co-expressed in the human lung and their expression can be modulated in bronchial epithelial cells by non-typable Haemophilus influenzae, Moraxella catarrhalis, TLR3, and type I and II interferons.
