Immunogen | The original antibody was raised by immunizing a mouse with human epidermal keratins from P3 x 63 Ag8 cells. |
Application Notes | The original version of this antibody was used for immunohistochemistry on human corneas (Haug et al., 2013; PMID:22429721), on human sentinel lymph node tissue (Atinkaya et al., 2005; PMID:16000990), and on tissue from rats bearing mammary tumours (Esendagli et al., 2009; PMID:18987061), and on lichen amyloidosis and macular amyloidosis tissue (Apaydin et al., 2004; PMID:15096140). Further this antibody was used for a western blot on DE-E, DE-F and DE-SF cell line lysates (Chang et al., 2010; PMID:19748110). This antibody was used for immunofluorescence on breast cancer cell lines MCF7, MDA-MB-231, SKBR3, SUM159, and SUM1315 and a hepatocellular carcinoma cell line HepG2 (Balic et al., 2011; PMID:20861793). |
Antibody First Published | Apaydin et al. Cytokeratin expression in lichen amyloidosus and macular amyloidosis J Eur Acad Dermatol Venereol. 2004 May;18(3):305-9. PMID:15096140 |
Note on publication | The original paper tries to understand the role of epidermal cells in the pathogenesis of lichen amyloidosis (LA) and macular amyloidosis (MA). |
