Specificity | This antibody is capable of binding human cytokeratin 7. Cytokeratins are intermediate filaments found in the intracytoplasmic cytoskeleton of epithelial tissue. Cytokeratin 7 blocks interferon- dependent interphase and stimulates DNA synthesis in cells. It is involved in the translational regulation of the human papillomavirus type 16 E7 mRNA. |
