Key features and details | |
Cat. No. | MABL-1799 |
Name | Anti-hemorrhagic protein mAbs |
Clone No. | AFD-H9 |
From | Recombinant Antibody |
Isotype | Engineer antibody |
Application | neutralizing, ELISA |
Species Reactivity | Bothrops atrox |
Basic Information | |
Specificity | The original antibody is specific for the hemorrhagic protein of Bothrops atrox. |
Alternative Name | Bap-1; SVMP; Snake venom metalloproteinase BaP1; Hemorrhagic metalloproteinase BaP1 |
UniProt | P83512 |
Immunogen | The original antibody was generated by immunizing a two-year-old adult male L. glama with increasing doses of B. atrox venom, followed by a VHH library construction and panning against partially purified hemorrhagic and myotoxic proteins. |
Application Notes | The specificity of the original format of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis. The original format of the antibody completely inhibited the hemorrhagic activity of the venom fraction and was able to fully neutralize the hemorrhagic activity (Calderon et al., 2020; PMID: 32457735). |
