Key features and details | |
Cat. No. | MABL-2539 |
Name | Anti-Oestrone-3-glucuronide mAbs |
Clone No. | AFD-3910 |
From | Recombinant Antibody |
Isotype | Engineer antibody |
Application | ELISA |
Species Reactivity | Human |
Basic Information | |
Specificity | The antibody binds to E3G with an affinity of 1.43 nM. |
Alternative Name | E3G |
UniProt | |
Immunogen | Human E3G. |
Application Notes | The antibody is specific for Oestrone-3-glucuronide (E3G), a urinary metabolite of 17β- estradiol, a hormone secreted by the developing ovarian follicles. The monoclonal antibodies can be used clinically to detect levels of E3G in urine samples of women, providing a non-invasive test for determining the fertile period, indicating the time of ovulation. |

Note on publication | Describes the generation of the monoclonal antibody 3910, specific for oestrone-3- glucuronide (E3G). The antibody has neutralising activity, and its crystal structure allows us to determine the binding interactions between 3910 and its ligand, |
