Key features and details | |
Cat. No. | MABL-274 |
Name | Anti- mouse Bim mAbs |
Clone No. | AFD- ham151-149 |
From | Recombinant Antibody |
Isotype | Engineer antibody |
Application | IP, WB, FC |
Species Reactivity | Mouse |
Basic Information | |
Specificity | The antibody reacts with mouse Bim. Mouse Bim is a 19-24 kDa pro-apoptotic protein (Bcl-2 family) which regulates immunological responses. |
Alternative Name | Bcl-2-like protein 11; Bcl2-L-11; Bcl2-interacting mediator of cell death |
UniProt | O54918 |
Immunogen | The original antibody was generated from a hamster immunized with a complex of mouse Bim and Bcl-XL produced in insect cells. |
Application Notes | The antibody reacted in Western blots and by immunofluorescence with permeabilized B and T cells from Bim +/+ mice (Oliver et al., 2004; PMID: 15520248). T cells were analyzed for levels of Bcl-2 and Bim protein by staining of permeabilized cells with the antibody (Jorgensen et al., 2007; PMID: 17785775). The antibody was used for flow cytometry analysis (Kashiwakura et al., 2013; PMID: 23278598). |
