Key features and details | |
Cat. No. | MABL-359 |
Name | Anti-AdiC mAbs |
Clone No. | AFD- Fab21 |
From | Recombinant Antibody |
Isotype | Engineer antibody |
Application | ELISA |
Species Reactivity | E. coli, Salmonella enterica |
Basic Information | |
Specificity | Binds to the AdiC transporter of various enteric bacteria, including E.coli and S. enterica. |
Alternative Name | Arginine: Agmantine Antiporter |
UniProt | P60061 |
Immunogen | E.coli AdiC. |
Application Notes | This antibody binds to AdiC of enteric bacteria. AdiC is a membrane protein acting as a transporter that imports arginine from the gastric juice and exports its decarboxylation product agmatine along with protons. AdiC is responsible for the acid-resistance of enteric bacteria. The antibody does not inhibit function of the transporter. |
