Basic Information | |
Specificity | The antibody is specific for CPV and FPV. The antibody is specific for antigenic site B of CPV-2. |
Alternative Name | CPV; FPV; Fab 15; Coat protein VP1; Antibody 15 |
UniProt | P17455; P04864 |
Immunogen | The original antibody was generated by immunizing Balb/C mice with CPV antigen. |
Application Notes | The original format of the antibody could neutralize CPV and FPV (Parrish et al., 1982; PMID: 6180709 and Nelson et al., 2007; PMID: 17217977). The specificity of the original format of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis (Nelson et al., 2007; PMID: 17217977). The crystal structure of the Fab format of the antibody was determined by cry-electron microscopy (Hafenstein et al., 2009; PMID: 19321620). |
