Description
CD22 produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 907 amino acids (20-687a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 102.1kDa. (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 100-150KDa). CD22 is expressed with a 239 amino acid hIgG-His-tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Introduction
CD22, also known as Sialic Acid-Binding Ig-Like Lectin 2, is part of the immunoglobulin(Ig)superfamily. CD22 mediates B-cell to B-cell interactions and is implicated in the localization of B-cells in lymphoid tissues. CD22 acts as positive regulator via interaction with the Src family tyrosine kinases, in addition CD22 preform as an inhibitory receptor by recruiting cytoplasmic phosphatases.

Formulation
CD22 protein solution (0.25mg/ml) contains 10% glycerol & Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.4).
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 85.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
