From
Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
This antibody recognizes and binds human aspartyl/asparaginyl beta-hydroxylase. The human aspartyl (asparaginyl) beta-hydroxylase (HAAH) is an a-ketoglutarate-dependent dioxygenase, which is a membrane-associated and highly conserved enzyme that hydroxylates epidermal growth factor-like domains in transformation-associated proteins. Overexpression of HAAH is recognized as an indicator for carcinomas in humans.
Alternative Names
HAAH; ASPH; BAH; ASP beta-hydroxylase; Aspartyl beta-hydroxylase; Aspartyl/asparaginyl beta-hydroxylase; Peptide-aspartate beta-dioxygenase; G3/F11; G3; F11
UniProt

Immunogen
The original antibody was generated by immunizing mice with naked plasmid DNA containing N-terminal domain of encoding HAAH gene and recombinant HAAH polypeptide.
Application Notes
The specificity and sensitivity of this antibody for human aspartyl (asparaginyl) beta- hydroxylase (HAAH) was determined using ELISA and western blot (PMID: 19663697). This antibody was also used in the identification of HAAH expression in seven tumor tissues, including hepatocellular carcinoma, lung cancer, kidney cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, prostate cancer, breast cancer, and glioblastoma by immunohistochemical stain (PMID: 19663697; 25394783).
