Description
CDK3 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 328 amino acids (1-305) and having a molecular mass of 37.4kDa. CDK3 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Introduction
Cyclin-dependent kinase 3, also known as CDK3, is a part of the cyclin-dependent protein kinase family. CDK3 promotes entry into S phase, partially by activating members of the E2F family of transcription factors. CDK3 also associates with cyclin C and phosphorylates the retinoblastoma one protein to promote exit from G0.

Formulation
The CDK3 solution (0.25mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 1M Urea and 10% glycerol.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
