XPNPEP1 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single,non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 655 amino acids (1-623 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 73.4kDa.
Introduction
X-Prolyl Aminopeptidase-1, also known as XPNPEP1 is
a member of the peptidase M24B family. XPNPEP1 encodes the cytosolic form of a
metalloaminopeptidase which catalyzes the cleavage of the N-terminal amino acid
adjacent to a proline residue. Furthermore, XPNPEP1 plays a role in degradation
as well as maturation of tachykinins, neuropeptides and peptide hormones.

Sterile filtered colorless solution.
Formulation
XPNPEP1 protein solution (1mg/ml) containing Phosphate
buffered saline (pH7.4) and 20% glycerol.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 85.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
