Description
G3BP2 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 473 amino acids (1-449) and having a molecular mass of 53.3kDa. G3BP2 is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Introduction
Ras GTPase-activating protein-binding protein 2 (G3BP2) is restricted to the plasma membrane and endocytic compartments and controls a fast endocytic recycling pathway. G3BP2 may be a scaffold protein which might be involved in mRNA transport.

Formulation
The G3BP2 solution (1mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 30% glycerol, 0.2M NaCl, 2mM DTT and 0.1mM PMSF.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
