Key features and details | |
Cat. No. | MABL-099 |
Name | Anti-Doc2b mAbs |
Clone No. | AFD-N150/21.3 |
From | Recombinant Antibody |
Isotype | Engineer antibody |
Application | WB, IHC |
Species Reactivity | Rat |
Basic Information | |
Specificity | This antibody is specific for the Doc2b protein and it does not show any cross reactivity with the Doc2a protein. Doc2b is a calcium sensor which positively regulates SNARE-dependent fusion of vesicles with membranes. |
Alternative Name | N150/21.3R; N150/21; Double C2-like domain-containing protein beta; Doc2-beta |
UniProt | P70610 |
Immunogen | This antibody was raised by immunising BALB/c mice with a fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1-216 (N-terminus) of rat Doc2b. |
Application Notes | This antibody is recommended for the detection and analysis of Doc2b by western blot and immunohistochemistry. For instance, the mouse version of this antibody was used to detect Doc2b by western blot in extracts of RBM and COS cells transiently transfected with GFP-tagged Doc2b or untagged Kv2.1 plasmids. Besides western blot it was also used to detect Doc2b in adult rat hippocampus using immunohistochemistry. |
