Immunogen
This antibody was raised by immunising BALB/c mice with human embryonic kidney 293T cells transfected to express high levels of Dombrock b.
Application Notes
The specificity of this antibody has been confirmed in haemagglutination studies, where it reacts with Do(a-b+) and Do(a+b+) RBCs, but not with Do(a+b-) RBCs (Grodecka et al, 2012). The epitope recognised by this antibody is resistant to treatment with papain, alpha-chymotrypsin and neuraminidase, and sensitive to treatment with trypsin and DTT (Grodecka et al, 2012).
