This antibody was raised by immunising mice with recombinant equine IFN-gamma, expressed as a GST fusion protein, produced in E. coli.
Application Notes
The specificity of this antibody for equine IFN-gamma has been confirmed in in ELISA and Western blot analysis using recombinant equine IFN-gamma derived from E. coli (Gutmann et al, 2005). This antibody has been used in Western blot and immunofluorescence analysis to detect equine IFN-gamma in mammalian cells transfected with IFN-gamma and insect cells infected with equine IFN-gamma-recombinant baculovirus (Gutmann et al, 2005). This antibody has also been used in an antigen-capture ELISA to quantify equine IFN-gamma (Gutmann et al, 2005).
