Immunogen
This human-murine chimeric antibody was derived from the anti-Fya murine monoclonal antibody MIMA-19 (Ab01349); cDNA encoding the VH and VL gene segments from MIMA-19-secreting hybridoma cells were inserted into human IgM expression vectors.
Application Notes
This antibody has been used to successfully determine the phenotype of DAT-positive red blood cell samples, which are otherwise challenging to phenotype due to the presence of surface-bound autoantibodies and/or complement (Lee et al, 2004).
