The original antibody was isolated from fully synthetic human combinatorial antibody library (HuCAL) by screening against a cell-bound human lymphocyte antigen HLA-Cw6. Cw6 stable cell line was generated by transfecting human lymphoblastoid LCL 721.221 HLA class I null cell line.
Application Notes
The binding specificity of the scFv antibody towards human HLA-Cw6, expressed on the cell surface was done using flow cytometry. This antibody was also used for the immunoprecipitation of Cw*0602-transfected LCL721.221 cells (WO2001014558).
