This antibody is specific for human immunoglobin. It exhibited strong binding to human IgG and IgA, and cross-reactivity with mouse IgG.

The original antibody was generated by immunizing alpacas with an emulsion of human IgG and IgA antigens, creating the appropriate phage display library, and panning against the original targets.
Application Notes
The binding specificity of the original camelid (alpaca) single-domain antibody (sdAb; VHH) was tested in an ELISA. This antibody was used to generate an anti-human Ig and anti-Her2/neu bi- specific construct together with Ab04653 [HerG1M], and their stability in vivo was compared (CN110964113B).
