This antibody binds human IL-10. Interleukin 10 is a major immune regulatory cytokine that acts on many cells of the immune system where it has profound anti-inflammatory functions, limiting excessive tissue disruption caused by inflammation.

The original antibody was generated by immunizing New Zealand white rabbits with recombinant human IL-10 protein.
Application Notes
The original rabbit IgG antibody binds human IL-10 with a high affinity and has a dissociation constant (Kd) of 9.62×10^(-11) M. A combination of AbAb01-IL10 and AbAb02-IL10 can be used in a double antibody sandwich ELISA, where AbAb01-IL10 is used as a capture antibody and AbAb02-IL10 is used as a detection antibody. The sensitivity of human IL-10 detection for this pair was reported to be 125pg/ml (CN114349858).
