OX-81
From
Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
OX-81 binds specifically to IL-4. IL-4 is a globular signalling protein which is involved in the stimilation of activated B and T cell proliferation and the differentiation of B cells into plasma cells. IL-4 also regulates B cell class switching to IgE, upregulates MHC class II expression and plays a role in the inflammation response and wound repair.

Immunogen
OX-81 was prepared by immunizing BALB/c mice with full-length IL-4.
Application Notes
OX-81 can be used to neutralise the effects produced by IL-4 and for FC studies.
