Cat. No.
MABL-2146
Application
crystallization
Isotype
Engineer antibody
Species Reactivity
Human
Clone No.
Fab 83-7
From
Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
This antibody recognizes an epitope within the cysteine rich region (amino acids 140-301) of the extracellular domain of the human insulin receptor alpha.
Alternative Names
CD220
UniProt
P06213
Immunogen
This antibody was raised by immunizing mice with IM-9 lymphocytes followed by purified insulin receptor.
Application Notes
This antibody forms a stable complex with the L1-CR fragment of the human insulin receptor alpha-subunit. Consequently, this antibody can be used to facilitate the crystallization of the complex, and the establishment of its structure (McKern et al, 2006).
Antibody First Published
