Specificity
YKIX 334.2 binds specifically to the MHC II beta chain. In dogs, MHC Class II is expressed on the surface of all peripheral blood mononuclear cells where it has a central role in the immune system by presenting peptides derived from extracellular proteins. Class II molecules are expressed in antigen presenting cells (B lymphocytes, dendritic cells, macrophages).

YKIX 334.2 was prepared by immunizing rats with concanavilin A activated canine peripheral blood cells.
Application Notes
YKIX 334.2 immunoprecipitates an antigen of 32/34kD and can has been shown to block the proliferation of MHC Class II dependent responses in vitro. This antibody can also be used for IHC- Fr and FC.
