Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
The antibody is specific for MPO. Myeloperoxidase (MP0) is a cationic glycoprotein with a relative molecular weight of 133-155kD and an isoelectric point of 1.0 secreted by neutrophils, macrophages and monocytes. MPO is part of the host defense system of polymorphonuclear leukocytes and it is responsible for microbicidal activity against a wide range of organisms.
Alternative Names
CGMCC No. 19684; myeloperoxidase
UniProt

Immunogen
The original antibody was generated by immunizing mice with MPO.
Application Notes
The antibody specifically detected MPO by Western blot analysis. The antibody 12F3A4C11 and a commercial rabbit polyclonal antibody were used to stain granulocytic sarcoma. Results showed the antibody specificity is comparable to the commercial antibody. Further, the sensitivity of the antibody 12F3A4C11 was higher than the commercial antibody. The antibody and the commercially available antibody were simultaneously detected on the normal tissue chip, indicating that the specificity of the antibody in normal tissue was equivalent to that of the commercially available antibody (CN112194724B).
