UniProt
Immunogen
The original antibody was generated via phage display from the Griffin.1 library by screening against Rat liver Golgi (RLG) complexes derived from rat liver.
Application Notes
The original format of this antibody (scFv) was successfully used in a Western blot and in for in vitro immunofluorescence staining of non muscle Myosin IIA (nmMyoIIA) in HeLa cells (Nizak et al., 2003; PMID: 14617357). Precise characterization of the SF9 target was achieved, defining a very small (3 kDa) epitope within the ~200kDa nmMyoIIA protein, revealing cross-reactivity with closely related proteins of the same and across species (Vielemeyer et al., 2010; PMID: 20727208).
