The original antibody was raised by immunizing a C57BL/6 mouse with NP-CGG.
Application Notes
The original antibody was used for an ELISA on NP-BSA. The antibody was used for affinity measurements using fluorescence quenching on NP-Cap and NP-Gly (Taketani et al., 1995; PMID:7477004). The structure of the original antibody was determined using x-ray crystallography (Nishiguchi et al., 2019; PMID:31521018).

In the original paper monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) specific to (4-hydroxy-3- nitrophenyl)acetyl (NP) were prepared at various times after immunization and the amino acid sequences of VH and V lambda 1 in these mAbs were deduced from cDNA nucleotide sequences.
