The original antibody was created by humanizing the 2K1 mouse antibody.
Application Notes
The original antibody was used for an ELISA on human osteopontin. The effect of the antibody on blood monocyte migration was determined, it showed that the antibody was able to inhibit the migration of TNF-alpha-activated human peripheral blood monocytes. The antibody was used for a cell adhesion assay, here it showed that it was able to show a strong cell adhesion inhibitory effect. This antibody was tested in vivo on cynomolgus monkeys, it showed that it could reduce foot swelling at a dose of 50 mg/kg, lower doses showed little effect (US7807161B2).
