A VHH library was constructed from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of an immunized Bactrian camel with SIV-NP recombinant protein, and the antibody was isolated by panning against SIV-NP.
Application Notes
The specificity of the original format of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis. The antibody detected the SIV-NP by western blot analysis. A blocking ELISA based on the biotinylated antibody was developed for SIV detection (Du et al, 2019; PMID: 31819435).
