Immunogen | The original antibody was raised by immunizing BALB/c mice with an ~100-200-kDa human platelet glycoprotein fraction prepared by gel filtration of concanavalin A-purified platelet membrane glycoproteins. |
Application Notes | This antibody was used for immunohistochemistry on normal dermal endothelium (Fleming et al., 2008; PMID:18197262, Foubert et al., 2015; PMID:24069908), and on nasal polyp tissue and associated inferior turbinate tissue (Könnecke et al., 2014; PMID:24995349). The original antibody was used for immunoprecipitation on platelet membrane glycoproteins. This antibody was also used for a western blot on cultured human umbilical vein endothelial cells (Skinner et al., 1989; PMID:2480118). This antibody was used for immunofluorescence on human umbilical vein endothelial cells (Mourik et al., 2013; PMID:24010820). |
Antibody First Published | Skinner et al. Characterization of human platelet GMP-140 as a heparin- binding protein Biochem Biophys Res Commun. 1989 Nov 15;164(3):1373-9. PMID:2480118 |
Note on publication | The original paper studies the interaction of Human platelet GMP-140 and heparin. |
