Specificity
This antibody binds human VEGFA. It is a growth factor active in angiogenesis, vasculogenesis and endothelial cell growth. It induces endothelial cell proliferation, promotes cell migration, inhibits apoptosis and induces permeabilization of blood vessels.

The original antibody was generated by immunizing mice with human VEGFA165 protein.
Application Notes
This antibody specifically binds human VEGFA in an ELISA. A combination of antibodies AbAb01-VEGFA and AbAb02-VEGFA can be used in a double antibody sandwich ELISA, where AbAb01-VEGFA is used as a capture antibody and AbAb02-VEGFA is used as a detection antibody. The sensitivity of human VEGFA detection for this pair was reported to be 8pg/mL (CN116874597).
