Immunogen | The original antibody was generated by immunizing mice with human B7-2. |
Application Notes | The original human IgG1, 3D1 antibody binds human B7-2 with an affinity of approximately Kd= 1nM and can be used to identify human B7-2 in an ELISA. This antibody was capable of immunoprecipitating B7-2 exrpressing porcine microvascular endothelial cells (PMID: 8757955). This antibody was capable of identifying CHO cells transfected with B7-2 in a flow cytometric assay. |
Antibody First Published | Davis et al. Primary porcine endothelial cells express membrane-bound B7-2 (CD86) and a soluble factor that co-stimulate cyclosporin A-resistant and CD28-dependent human T cell proliferation. Int Immunol. (1996); 8(7):1099-111. PMID:8757955 |
