Specificity

This antibody is specific for the native human TCR delta and gamma chains. The T-cell receptor (TCR) is a molecule found on the surface of T cells, or T lymphocytes, that is responsible for recognizing fragments of antigen as peptides bound to major   histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules.

Immunogen

The mouse version of this antibody was   raised by immunizing BALB/c mice with Purified native human TCRg/d.

Application Notes

To investigate the differentiation stages of   human cd T-cells in cryopreserved peripheral blood mononuclear cells, PBMCs   were stained for flow cytometry using the mouse version of this antibody   (Wistuba-Hamprecht et al, 2014; pmid:24756989). To investigate the role of T cells in cancer, PMBCs from patients with EBV-associated Hodgkin’s lymphoma were used for flow cytometry using the mouse version of   this antibody (Beucke et al, 2020; pmid:31967358). To investigate the ability of antibodies to cross-react with other species, flow cytometry was performed   on the blood of 33 species using the mouse version of this antibody (Conrad   et al, 2007; pmid:17654651).
