Name | Anti-3-pHis mAbs |
Clone No. | AFD- SC39-6 |
From | Recombinant Antibody |
Isotype | Engineer antibody |
Application | IAP, WB |
Species Reactivity | Species independent |
Basic Information | |
Specificity | This antibody is specific for 3-pHis and does not cross react with phosphotyrosine (pTyr) or the other pHis isomers. |
Alternative Name | 3-phosphohistidine; N3-Phosphohistidine; histidine |
UniProt | |
Immunogen | The original rabbit version of this antibody was raised by immunizing rabbits with a 3-pTza library conjugated to the carrier protein keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH). |
Application Notes | This antibody can be used for the identification of 3-pHis substrates and functional study of pHis. SC39-6 can be used to detect 3-pHis via Western blot (Fuhs et al, 2015; pmid: 26140597; Hunter et al., 2019). This clone was also used for phosphoenrichment using immunoaffinity purification (Hunter et al., 2019). |
