Key features and details | |
Cat. No. | MABL-559 |
Name | Anti-BSA mAbs |
Clone No. | AFD- D1 |
From | Recombinant Antibody |
Isotype | Engineer antibody |
Application | IP |
Species Reactivity | Bovine |
Basic Information | |
Specificity | D1 has been shown to bind to BSA in panning experiments from phage display. Albumin is a secreted globular protein found in blood plasma and BSA has multiple biochemical applications including ELISAs and immunohistochemistry and is able to increase the stability of proteins and be used as a standard in Bradford assays. |
Alternative Name | Bovine serum albumin; serum albumin; albumin |
UniProt | P02769 |
Immunogen | D1 was prepared by isolating anti-p24 scFvs from a phage display library made from a mouse immunized with lysate from HIV-1 infected H9 cells. |
Application Notes | D1 was selected for by panning where it reacted postiively on BSA. D1 can also be used as a control in IP and when working with native proteins when conducting studies within a BSA medium. |
