Description
CENPP Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 308 amino acids (1-288 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 35.3kDa. CENPP is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Introduction
Centromere protein P (CENPP) is component of the CENPA-CAD (nucleosome distal) complex, which is a complex recruited to centromeres and involved in assembly of kinetochore proteins, mitotic progression and chromosome segregation. CENPP protein is involved in incorporation of newly synthesized CENPA into centromeres by way of its interaction with the CENPA-NAC complex.

Sterile filtered colorless solution.
Formulation
CENPP protein solution (1mg/ml) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.4M Urea and 10% glycerol.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
