Description
EXOSC5 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 256 amino acids (1-235) and having a molecular mass of 27.5kDa. EXOSC5 is fused to a 21 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Introduction
EXOSC5 is a member of the RNase PH family. EXOSC5 is known to cooperate with Exosome component 8 and Exosome component 1. EXOSC5 is a Non-catalytic component of the RNA exosome complex and has 3'->5' exoribonuclease activity. EXOSC5 take part in a large number of cellular RNA processing and degradation events. EXOSC5 is expressed in a large range of hematopoietic and epithelial tumor cell lines, but not in standard hematopoietic tissues or other standard tissue, with the exception of testis.

Formulation
The EXOSC5 solution (0.5mg/1ml) contains PBS buffer (pH 7.4), 200mM Nacl, 2mM DTT and 30% glycerol.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
