Description
RAB17 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 232 amino acids (1-212) and having a molecular mass of 25.6 kDa. The RAB17 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Introduction
RAB17 is a member of the small GTPase superfamily which are found in several intracellular compartments and have a significant regulatory part in membrane trafficking. RAB17 regulates traffic through the apical recycling endosome, which indicates that RAB17 has a role in polarized arrangement in epithelial cells.

RAB17 is supplied as a sterile filtered clear solution.
Formulation
RAB17 protein 0.5mg/ml is supplied in 20mM Tris-HCL, pH-8, 0.1M NaCl, 1mM DTT and 30% Glycerol.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
