Description
NCF1 Recombinant Human produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 398 amino acids (1-390 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 45.7 kDa. The NCF1 is fused to an 8 amino acid His-Tag at C-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Introduction
NCF1 is a cytosolic subunit protein of neutrophil NADPH oxidase which a Multi-component enzyme that is activates production of superoxide anion. NCF1, along with NCF2 and a membrane bound cytochrome b558, is necessary for activation of the latent NADPH oxidase necessary for superoxide production. Mutations in this NCF1 have been related with chronic granulomatous disease.

Sterile filtered colorless solution.
Formulation
0.5mg/ml solution containing 20mM Tris-HCl pH-8, 1mM DTT, 0.1M NaCl & 20% glycerol.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
